Coffee Lab Kaiserhöfe

Kind of hidden. Look out for a sidewalk chalkboard sign, which leads to an alley courtyard where Coffee Lab is situated. Had the Flat White & Vegan Apricot Croissant. Both were amazing. Nice modern layout with miniminalist interiors. There's more seating on the 2nd floor. Cozy vibez. Would definitely return.

Surprisingly interesting place hidden from main tourist roads, it’s inside a building in an inner courtyard. Very bright and shiny interior which is pleasant, service is great. Coffee was a bit roasted too much to my taste. Cake was nice and a great addition to a coffee. This place has a second floor. I really liked a design of it and I definitely visit again. It’s open at 8am which is very convenient to visit before working hours. During a day could be crowded because of office workers visit it from nearby buildings so this place is mostly for the locals.

One of the best coffees I had while traveling through Europe. It wasn’t crowded when I visited, which made the experience even more enjoyable and personal. I had the chance to chat with the owner, who was also the barista, and it quickly became clear how passionate and knowledgeable he is about his craft. I asked a few questions about coffee, and he was more than happy to explain everything in a thoughtful and approachable way, without any pretension. What really stood out was his generosity. He even took the time to recommend a few specialty coffee spots to check out around Berlin, which says a lot about how humble and confident he is in his own work. The Medovik honey cake is exceptional. Rich, perfectly balanced, and genuinely one of the best desserts I’ve had on this trip. If you’re in Berlin and appreciate great coffee, warm service, and excellent pastries, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

I had a great experience at Coffee Lab Kaiserhöfe. The staff were super nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The coffee was honestly perfect; smooth, rich, and made with real attention. The homemade cakes were also a big highlight, with several options that looked and tasted fresh. The seating area is cozy and comfortable, and the café has a warm atmosphere overall. There’s even a small play area on the second floor, and the children absolutely loved it! a big plus for families. A really lovely spot to relax, enjoy great coffee, and spend time with kids. I’ll definitely come back!

Great little spot hidden away from the main strip. Happy we stumbled across it. The coffee was the best we had in Berlin and the bagels were tasty. We shared the egg and lettuce bagel as well as the vegetarian and both hit the spot.

It’s a cute cafe located just behind Nivea Haus Berlin on Unter den Linden. Ordered. Mozzarella Tomato Bagel with an Americano. Bagel came toasted and the kaffee temperature was good. Love the vibes and decor here. There were more bistro style tables and chairs in the courtyard facing Mittelstrasse 51 &55. It’s a nice quiet spot away from crowds with good food and cute vibes.

I was looking for a coffee and a light bite for breakfast, and vowed not to stop at any US branded cafe. Coffee Lab did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I had a bagel with salmon; the former was toasted just enough and the latter was sliced perfectly. I also had a flat white and I was grateful for some oat milk with it. There are a few tables downstairs and an area with cushioned seating too. I went up the stairs where I found a few more small wooden tables. I love me some wood decor, and Coffee Lab mixes it perfectly with large windows to let in lots of daylight. A little treasure of a coffee spot.

A hidden gem right next to the main street. Guys being the counter were super friendly and helpful with very good customer service. We got some tasty salmon bagels, an amazing hot chocolate and a very good coffe (I've been told). Very reasonable prices.
